Keira Knightley has put the blame on tight corsets for making the woman ‘the weaker sex’.

The 23-year-old actress, was seen donning the tight corsets for her periodic films ‘Pride and Prejudic’ and The Duchess, claims that the tight garment stop the oxygen from making its way to the brain.

She says,  “It’s obvious why women were called the weaker sex, because you can hardly breathe in a corset. It’s a fight just to get oxygen to your brain.”

Well now I know Keira the reason behind your strange expressions in both the movies.

The Duchess star who is dating actor Rupert Friend doesn’t have any plans to tie the knot with him.

She explains, “I had quite a few different corsets, and it was really weird because they were all obviously made to measure for me, but some of them I could breathe in, and some of them I absolutely couldn’t… and it was a complete nightmare!”

Well with such a tiny waist I wonder how couldn’t she fit into her clothes.

Keira Knightley insists that she doesn’t give a damn to women that hate her.

The 23-year-old actress thinks that women tend to get very partial towards her in criticism as she is very skinny.

She says,”If you put yourself in the public forum, it’s what you put yourself up for. I don’t need to read it.

“Manipulation is something women do a lot. Women get obsessed with other women – love them or hate them. That line is very easy to cross.”

Keira also responded to a recent quote by a British columnist which featured her name, it reads, “If you want to befriend a woman, ask her the question: ‘What do you think of Keira Knightley?’ In the resulting torrent of bile and loathing, you will bond.”

To which she replies, “I’m doing a good thing for women, then.”

Any idea people why women hate her?? Maybe ‘coz she is the only boobless woman loved and desired by men worldwide.

Well here is one beauty who is scared to have an Oscar for herself - Keira Knightley.

Knightley who is favorite to win the coveted award next year for her wonderful performance in The Duchess, insists that if she wins the award she might probably ’s**t in her pants.

She says, “I would probably s**t myself if I had to give a speech.”

She adds, “There is always an element of fear that you are not going to be able to make people believe in the fiction, that suddenly you are going to be standing there in your dress and wig, and feel like a complete w***er. Which is not particularly helpful.”

Well we hope Keira wins the award, a good way to overcome her fear.

Actress, Keira Knightley wants audiences and media to focus more on her work than on her boobs and weight.

The Atonement star believes that her body attracts more attention than her movies.

She says, “I wish people would focus on the work rather than my weight … I am just lucky, naturally very thin, and if they studied my art a bit more the films might get somewhere at the box office.”

The Edge of Love star branded her playwright mother Sharman Macdonald a “chilled-out hippy”.

She says, “Mum and I would always talk about sex. “She’d come up to my room, have me roll her cigarettes and then tell me I had to have one with her.

“It’s not the typical mother-daughter thing but we’re extremely close.”

“I think that’s lovely but also sad about acting. You get incredibly close to people and as soon as it’s over you don’t see each other.

The movie bosses of her upcoming movie The Duchess was supposed to feature a curvier Knightley but the actress refused to let the bosses have their way.
