Whew… I’ve been shouting it out on the top of my rooftop and on the top of my lungs that Keira Knightley is FAMOUS!!! But no one cares to listen… on the other hand, a big movie website releases it’s numbers n says that she’s one of the top ten most searched for celebrities and everyone believes it!

I guess this is the difference between a big search site and my small blog on her…

Anyways, the results are that Johnny Depp is the most searched for celeb of 2006 with over 42 million individual searches for the ‘Captain Jack Sparrow’ of the Pirates series… that’s surely a big no. people… never knew he was SO famous!!! But anyways, Keira has managed to get a respectable 6th position with her releases and controversies this year…

Not bad huh… at least she’s managed it to the top ten unlike other wannabes

Oki guys… I’m not sure if Keira Knightley is gonna be really happy listening to this… ‘Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest’ has sold over 1.5 Million copies in UK in the first week itself!!!

Keira might not have great thoughts about the Pirates series coz its because of her over working for this movie that her 10 month old relationship with Rupert Friend is on the verge of a break-up!

But on the other side the good news is that the DVDs of the movie might just cross the 3 million mark till Jesus Christ’s birthday in UK alone!!!

Come on Keira… its time you got rid of that insensitive, insecure jealous and violent freak who calls himself your boyfriend… according to me he’s one MCP and NOTHING ELSE!!!

Keira Knightley surely follows my blogs huh! I spoke of her getting famous the other day, and now she’s just proven it all over again! Her fame has just crossed the 8,716 barrier now and reached the 10,000 mark!!! The only difference is that this time Keira’s BRAND name has sold over 10,000 SLIPPERS!!!

I’m not kidding guys… A shoe company recently launched its $38 a pop slippers and Keira decided to pick a pair for herself… and within no time, their sales crossed the 10K mark! Whew guys… people surely LOVVVVEEE Keira, don’t they… the best part here is that the company had also promised to donate one pair of those slippers to the poor of Argentina, the place where they got the idea of those slip-ons from, on every pair purchased…

So basically, Keira helped to donate 10,000 pairs of slippers to the poor Argentineans just by wearing and flaunting hers…. Some amazing contribution Knightley…. Rock on Babe!

Not that we don’t know about that… but then, a fact is widely accepted only when accompanied with statistics… now don’t we know about Keira’s statistics (especially the VITAL ones )… But then there are definitely more than just her vital statistics which prove that she’s famous… the statistics that I recently found out from findmypast.com …

The site found out as to how many new-borns across the nations were being names after celebrities… Beyonce managed to rake in a mere 265, whereas Britney had about 1500 names to her credit… but when the name Keira was entered, the search engine took quite some time to get the results……

Hey people… I have good news, GREAT news…. And not so good news….

1. The good news is that the Pirates Of The Caribbean series is going beyond the status of a trilogy. The fourth episode of the series has started and is in the scripting stage now… so be prepared for a much longer stand with the pirates…

2. The GREAT (read GRRRRRREEEEEAAAATTTTT) news is that Keira Knightley’s character Elizabeth Swann has been highly appreciated not just by the audiences and critics, but also the producers of the film… the appreciation might be shown as much more screen time for the heavenly beauty in the third, fourth and many more Pirates movies J

3. The not so great news is that the leading man, Orlando Bloom might have to face the axe… the producers are hell bent on cost cutting for the venture, so Will Turner’s (the character played by Orlando) will be killed in the beginning of the movie itself….

While we rejoice for Keira baby, a thought that comes to mind is that how can a leading and main character turn ‘not necessary’ all of a sudden??? What say….

A new survey on movie starlets was conducted by Yahoo whereby British beauty Keira Knightly beat loads of top actresses to be named the greatest ever movie starlet. Keira was chosen ahead of Scarlett Johansson and movie legend Judy Garland in the survey of film fans.

• The 21-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean actress already has one Oscar nomination under her belt for her performance as Elizabeth Bennet in Pride and Prejudice.
• The survey by Yahoo! Entertainment asked 1,600 movie fans to name their favorite starlets.
• Garland whose films include The Wizard of Oz, Meet Me In St Louis and A Star Is Born, came in second
• Scarlett Johansson who is starring in The Black Dahlia was third. And Shirley Temple, child star of the 1930s, was fifth.

Now don’t you think Keira is the perfect starlet in the industry? She is hot, sexy, witty, intelligent and most of all a very talented actress. I know that there are a lot many actresses out there who are Oscar winners; some may look pretty, while some are very intelligent. But guys, Keira is the complete package.
