Keira Knightley’s mommy Sharman Macdonald has hit out at reports that claim her dearest daughter is suffering from anorexia.

Macdonald who is screenwriting for Keira’s new flick The Edge of Love even compared the paparazzo’s behavior to bullying.

I wonder why the media is aghast to mess with Knightley even after knowing that she had won damages from Daily Mail last year when they had published an article about her suffering from eating disorder.

Keira Knightley was originally assigned to play the character of Caitlin Thomas in her upcoming flick The Edge of Love penned specially for her by her screenwriter mom Sharman MacDonald untill she refused to play the character.

Macdonald narrated Keira the role of Caitlin Thomas but she went against the ideas of her mother to play the part of Vera. Macdonald had to transform the character of Vera Phillips according to Keira’s liking.

Macdonald revealed, “I said, ‘You’re playing Caitlin (to Keira Knightley),’ and she said, ‘No, I like Vera.’”

“She (Vera Phillips) wasn’t even a singer until Keira decided to play her.”

Vera Phillips plays the love interest of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas in the movie The Edge of Love that is based of the Welsh poet’s life.

The movie is going to premiere on 18th June at the Edinburgh Film Festival in Scotland.

Keira Knightley is “relieved” to be taking on a new role in latest movie Atonement, because it’s more of a challenge than her part in the Pirates of the Caribbean series.

The Pride and Prejudice actress stars alongside James McAvoy as star-crossed lovers in the movie, which is based on the Ian McEwan novel.

And the English beauty is grateful for the new role, because it has more depth than that of her Pirates character, Elizabeth Swann.

She tells British film magazine Empire, “This is such a relief. Not that I don’t enjoy all that Pirates stuff, but it’s not about my character–it’s about Johnny (Depp)’s character. It’s not focusing on emotional turmoil. It’s been great just to get my brain engaged.”

With the kind of heat the idea of seeing Keira Knightley and Lindsay Lohan making out on screen for in John Maybury-directed ‘The Best Time of Our Lives’, we thought it was quite enough to raise Lohan’s status to that of a serious actor… But pity the woman walked out of the flick just a few weeks before the shooting was scheduled to begin.

Lohan and the financiers couldn’t come to a deal and she dropped out…. so her loss has proved as a blessing for Sienna Miller who is replacing Lohan.

Written by Knightley’s playwright mother Sharman Macdonald, the film is based on a rivalry between two women over the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas (Rhys). Miller will play his wife, Caitlin MacNamara, and Knightley plays his childhood friend Vera Phillips.

Not a bad choice at all… it would still be fire on screen to see the seemingly gorgeous ladies make out.

Sei Ashina is the Japanese babe who’s stolen Keira Knightley’s man!!! Well, did she HAVE a man in the first place??? She most definitely does… and he’s none other than Michael Pitt!!! The dude falls for this Japanese babe and the poor young wife Keira is only left with her set of suspicions while he freaks out with the mature Ashina…

The producers seem to have found a solution to this ” Do away with the pirates and call in the PARROTS !! ” of the third ‘Pirates of Caribbean ” film are inviting gifted parrots to audition for a part.

The feathured hopefuls will have to demonstrate their talking skills to a panel of tough judges - and no swearing is allowed.

A source revealed : “This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a parrot with a big personality. We hope to uncover the next A-list avian superstar.”

The lucky winning bird will first be used as the official “spokesparrot” for the DVD launch of the second swashbuckling adventure, ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: The Dead Man’s Chest’ !

Keira Knightley seems to have got bored of Elizabeth Swann who had given her the taste of commercial success. She doesn’t seem to be jumping at the bit to star in more Pirates of the Caribbean films.

She was recently quoted by a source saying that she doesn’t want to be a part of any future sequels.

“I’ve been playing this girl since I was 17. I’m 21 now and I’m onto very different things, but it’s fun to try to invest Elizabeth [Swann] with some rebellious spirit,” she continued. “But what I’m doing in Atonement (the current film she is working on) is very different. I mean, she is a grown-up woman!”

I dont think she makes much sense there…you are bound to differ from the character you play on screen…yes you may identify with her to certain extent but its rather unwise to quit a character you had defined just because you dont relate to her anymore!

Kiera knightly seems to have hit bullseye . The Pirates of carrebean is planning it’s fourth adventure…a movie with her mom…the very controversial movie with Lindsay Lohan and now Kiera has managed to lap up another role .She will be seen in Atonement ,the big screen adaptation ofIan Mc.Evans bets selling novel in which she is paired opposite James McAvoy.
