Looks like all the mom’s and dad’s of Hollywood have decided to come out in the open.Keira Knightley gave her mother a guided tour of the set of her latest movie, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, as the pair took a boat with the rest of the cast for filming off Redondo Beach in California. Keira’s mother, Sharman Macdonald, who lives in Richmond, took a professional interest in proceedings as she is an actress turned playwright herself. She has even had a hand in her daughter’s acting success, writing the play After Juliet for her.

Wel in all these hectic schedules and broken relations.. it’s great to see some mother -daughter bonding.This is what I term as mixing work with pleasure!!

She hasn’t been nominated, but Keira Knightley took time out to visit the Silver Spoon Hollywood Buffet.

The show was organised to symbolize how love grows and intensfies. And to match this the size of diamonds was set in an ascending order. And the young Oscar nominated Keira Kngithly found some diamonds and picked up a pair of danglers by Arezzo at just $7,500.

Looks like the oscar night was full of disappointments for Kiera .Kiera Knightley felt a little disappointed that Jack Nicholson didn’t hit on her when they met. Pirates of the Caribbean actress revealed she was really star-struck meeting the aging actor but felt rejected when he didn’t make a move.

She said: “I was speechless sitting next to Jack Nicholson at the Oscars. I can’t remember what he said to me. Everyone asked if he tried to hit on me, but he didn’t. It’s actually kind of embarrassing that he didn’t.”

The 21-year-old star also confessed she felt relieved when Reese Witherspoon was announced as best actress on Oscar night and not her. She added: “My first thought was thank God I don’t have to make a speech! We all knew who it was going to be. I just giggled - it was so weird, laughing was the only option. “My friend wanted me to do an ‘I’ve been robbed’ thing and I was so tempted because nobody ever does that. I think it would have been hilarious.”
