‘Atonement’, a screen adaption of McEwan’s novel by the same name is chosen to open Venice Film Festival. And if you didn’t know this until now, Keira Knightley is playing a woman in this film.While the director of the movie John Wright is elated, male fans of Keira are more than happy. Not just because of the Venice Film Festival, but because ‘Atonement’ is the first movie where Keira plays and ’shows’ herself as a woman. Know what I mean?

“I’m not normally flat (about her voice) but crying and singing makes that to you…” says Keira. Well she was actually doing her mom’s film ‘The Edge of Love’ where she was supposed to sing and emote some serious expressions.Hmmm what can one say…except that Keira has atlast accepted that she is flat, about one thing or the other

“I’m trying to go ‘F*** it’ and have bowls of pasta or whatever makes me happy. I haven’t been to the gym since January and I’m drinking about half a bottle of wine a night. F*** it, you’ve got one life - live it” !Well that’s how Keira sounded when one person asked something about her weight. She really got psyched up, and well guys…don’t go talking about her weight again. Because she is very comfortable about ‘thin’ image. Huh!

British actress Keira Knightley is “hopeless” at cooking - and fears single-handedly encouraging the spread of food poisoning.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean star admits she’s far from a domestic goddess, and discourages her friends from sampling her culinary delights.
She says, “I have tried but I really am hopeless.”I can cook maybe one dish but even then, if you ate it, you’d probably end up with food poisoning.”
All you guys, out there who have been trying to impress Keira, start learing your cooking now. Well meanwhile I will go and cook her , her favourtie dish

Keira Knightley believes her hot temper is inherited from her actor father Will Knightley, and she loves to release her anger by smashing glass.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean beauty, 22, enjoys getting rid of her angst by throwing glasses, and calls the act “therapeutic”.
She says, “I have the Knightley streak. He gets angry at inanimate objects. I find it therapeutic to throw glasses even if you have to spend the rest of thenight on your hands and knees collecting pieces of glass.”
